Academy of Dance
Overview
The Legacy Visual and Performing Arts High School Academy of Dance is one of the most visible academies on campus. The program includes several dance groups and teams and classes of all levels including ballet, modern dance, Hip-Hop, choreography, and Dance Company. VAPA also has a strong after-school dance program with classes after school 5 days a week. The Director of Dance, Mr. Sanna-Pickett, holds a MA in dance and teaches dance full-time at VAPA (VAPA has a separate PE teacher).
