David Keys, Principal, is the new principal at Legacy VAPA!  

Brenda Barragan (BA, MA), Assistant Principal, taught for eleven years in Social Science-History before becoming an administrator. Her last 7 years of teaching, Barragan also served as leadership advisor. She was Magnet and Testing Coordinator at Southeast High School and successfully led the transition from Tech and Media Magnet to S.T.E.A.M. Magnet. Brenda was the first in her family to attend college and earned a BA from the University of California, Irvine, and a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Southern California.

Ariel Legaspi (BA, MA), TSP/EL Coordinator, taught music for 15 years prior to serving the Legacy VAPA community. Mr. Legaspi is responsible for the Title One/TSP and English Learner program in addition to the Smarter Balanced Assessments, New Teacher program, and co-leads the Professional Development program at Legacy VAPA.

Ms. Griselda Solis (BA, MS) is the 11th and 12th Grade and head counselor at VAPA as well as working with English Learners and PSAT.

Ms. Gorety Brown (BA, MS) is the 9th and 10th Grade counselor at Legacy VAPA.  She has her BA in Psychology and her Masters in School Counseling from California State University, Northridge. She has been working with all grade levels at various sites since 2013.
